In order to maintain your nail enhancements,
manicures, and pedicures we recommend these guidelines.
*Treat you hands
with care. Try to wear gloves while performing household work or gardening to prevent the polish from chipping or over exposing
them to water for long periods of time.
*Do not use your hands as tools. While nail enhancements are stronger and more durable then natural nails, they are not indestructible. Please do not use them to open pop top cans. *Apply a layer of top coat to help extend your polish wear and keep them looking fresh. You may apply at 24 hours after your service. *Apply cuticle oil daily. I recommend
a light oil such as grapeseed, avocado, sweet almond, jojaba or any combination of these.
The reasons for applying cuicle oil are, this will help promote healthy nail growth, keep your cuticles conditioned as to prevent hang nails. This also provides flexibility by lubricating the product molecules for enhancements and stopping "curling away" of the natural nail. *I also recommend a nail strengthener program for those who are removing enhancements or have a hard time growing their natural nails. *What do you do if you snag or break natural nails. Carefully file them in one direction with a 240 or higher grit. Never aggressively file back and forth as this will cause splitting of nail layer. Come in as soon as you can to have it repairs if need. *For nail enhancements, repairs need to be seen by you
specialist. If lifting has occurred you need to come in as soon as possible to have it fixed so moisture doesn't
get trapped between the nail and the enhancement in turn allowing bacteria to grow and turn green.
*If you wear any type of enhancements, please make sure to maintain you re-balancing every 2 weeks to keep the integrity of the product. Failure to do so could result in a bacterial or fungal infection. *The winter months are rough on feet due to the weather, dryness, and the fact that we are constantly in our shoes. If you do your winter maintenance you will be very happy come the Spring Time and wearing your pretty sandals.
